Membership is open to all full time law enforcement officers, regardless of rank. All city, county, state, federal and military police officers are eligible for membership. This includes corrections.

Your local lodge is a fraternal organization made up of law enforcement officers from the local community. The local lodge is an independent body in the conduct of its own affairs. The local lodge officers are elected from the membership of the lodge. Each local lodge has its own Constitution and set of By-laws approved by the National Constitution and By-laws Committee. Each lodge is a member of the State Lodge and is represented at the state board meetings and conferences by state trustees and delegates elected by the local lodge.

The National FOP Journal is a professional law enforcement publication provided to each member. The journal supplies a wide range of articles, reports, legislation, and news to its members.

Your local lodge participates in the National Legal Defense Plan. The FOP has a super legal defense program that offers 100% coverage to Officers for any Administrative/Criminal/Civil complaint against them... All for only $15.00 a month. Members can use local attorneys who are approved by the FOP's legal defense fund. You won't find a better legal defense insurance plan.

Upon completion and approval of the application for membership, the fee for new applicants to cover processing and per capita tax for one year of dues is $40.00. Dues may be paid though payroll deduction. After the fees are collected and during the first regular meeting, the new applicant will be sworn in as a member. As a new member, you will receive a membership package including membership card and window decals.

Membership incentive program: Get $10.00 off your yearly dues for every person you get to join! Bring a friend into Lodge 19 and your dues are only $30.00 for the year. Bring four friends and your membership is FREE for the year!

Retired Membership is open to all retired Law Enforcement Officers for only $20.00 per year.
